Biographies - Rebecca Hooper

Rebecca Hooper studied under Helen Lawson at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (BMus Hons) graduating in 2010. She has previously performed with Lakeland Opera, Encore, Scottish Opera and Kentish Opera; Rebecca was also a founding member of the female chamber choir 'Les Sirènes' (Choir of the Year Winner 2012).

During her studies she performed in a variety of ensembles: from oratorio works to opera scenes and staged productions. Previous roles include: Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro - scenes), Valletto (L'incoronazione di Poppea - scenes), First Lady (Die Zauberflöte - scenes), Zerlina (Don Giovanni- scenes), Lola (Cavaliera Rusticana - staged) and Governess (Turn of the Screw - scenes).

Rebecca currently works as a primary teacher and has a solo recital tour booked for the summer and Christmas months. Rebecca Hooper (Soprano)
