- Felicity Buckland
studied at the Royal Northern College of Music under Thomas Schulze,
where she received the Eunice Pettigrew Prize. In 2013 she completed
English National Opera's Opera Works programme, and is continuing
her studies privately with Mary Plazas.
Felicity is currently
performing in the ensemble and covering Lily in ENO's critically
acclaimed, sell-out production of Porgy and Bess, a co-production
with Dutch National Opera and the Metropolitan Opera New York.
Her busy year began with twice reprising the role of Olga in
Eugene Onegin (first presented in 2017 for Opera Up Close); once
for Opera South East and as a cover for Mid Wales Opera. The
summer season was spent with West Green House Opera, as Paquette
in Candide and covering Suzuki in Madama Butterfly.
